The Fractured Realms is a design exercise aimed to created a series of interconnected spaces within a constrained 16x16 meter form using only vertical surfaces and openings. Embracing the 16 columns, the concept employs imaginary rays shot from each column to create fractures, unique shapes, and joints in the plan. The rays extend beyond the columns, forming side walls and openings of the structure. Subtracted fragments result in distinctive spaces for visitors to explore. The visually captivating design showcases fragmented panels and interplay of light, creating a dappled effect in the interior, offering a mesmerizing and sensory experience for visitors.
